Plant A Tree. It can be done for free. #PlantATree
What’s In It For You:
Nobody said it better than this 17th century historian:
He who plants trees loves others besides himself.
Planting trees may not immediately be for your own personal benefit, but it is for the benefit of the entire planet. It truly changes the world. And that benefits you as well.
Why To Plant A Tree
The world needs more trees. We all know that. Forests are dwindling, climate changes, habitat for endangered animal species disappears. Please join the fight for reforestation. It’ll gain you karma points. And Mother Earth loves you for it.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.
How To Plant A Tree
You have two options how to plant a tree: Either do it yourself, or have someone else do it for you.
Should you opt for the former option, Plantify (Android App) is a cool way to share your efforts and results.
In case you don’t have the space, experience, will or time to plant a tree yourself, let others do it. Either by donating to a tree-planting project, or by using one of the following two projects:
- Ecosia: The search engine that plants trees. One tree will be planted for ~45 online searches conducted. Read the full Ecosia Review. Or try Ecosia immediately.
- B’n’Tree: For every bed you book, at least one tree is planted. Full project details on B’n’Tree: You book a bed, we plant a tree.
Both projects are free for you to use, so make use of them. More than once, in the best case.
Put your wristband on and plant a tree within the next seven days. Either do it yourself or with the help of above projects. It has never been easier to plant trees.
