Thanks to the Jallenges I have realised again, how much fun life can be and how great it is to sometimes push yourself out of your own comfort zone and habits to try new ways of living.

Jallenges are short, often fun challenges that help you improve yourself, and at times even make this world a better place. And it is as easy as one, two, three.
Of course, all Jallenges are completely free and entirely voluntary. You should challenge yourself, but not do anything you feel really uncomfortable about. This also holds true when you challenge a friend: In case they really are against the idea, simply challenge a different person.
To actually stick to your intention, you need to wear a wristband, which will remind you of the Jallenge. In case you do break the rules of the Jallenge, the wristband changes wrists, and the Jallenge begins anew. Here are some world-changing wristbands.
To ensure you don’t cheat on yourself, it is highly recommended to always challenge minimum one other person. In the best case, tell as many others about your undertaking or even publish it on social media – the social pressure will play an important role in keeping you on track.
Whatever you want to achieve – it is possible.
Challenge a friend offline or on social media with #Jallenges, or find someone to challenge in our Facebook Group. Agree on a penalty (optional). And remember the real-life world-changing wristbands!
Most of us have an urge to work on ourselves or improve the planet. This is why we pick New Year’s Resolutions, sign up for the gym, swear to never drink alcohol again or decide to quit smoking for the 24th time.
Unfortunately, sticking to New Year’s Resolutions is a very hard task, since we would have to do it for an entire year to be successful. And they’re just so easy to forget at times. Besides, nobody holds us accountable if we break our resolutions, since basically everybody breaks their resolutions sooner or later.
Jallenges are short, usually starting with one single week, and it is mandatory to challenge (or at least inform) a friend, so that person can hold you accountable to your promise. Also, you are highly encouraged to wear a wristband solely dedicated to this one single Jallenge, which always reminds you of your project.
Finally, there is no punishment for breaking the rules, except for you feeling bad about yourself. If you do break the rules, your wristband changes wrists, and you start the Jallenge again from anew – this time even more motivated to at least last longer than the last time.
Gradually, these Jallenges turn into habits, and you don’t even think about your improved behavior any longer. That’s when it’s time to start the next Jallenge!

Thanks to the Jallenges I became aware of the loads of plastic wrapping our food and try to reduce it as far as possible. The Jallenges inspired me and gave me a new point of view on things in my everyday life.
Erzähl uns, was du geschafft hast und helfe uns andere für Jallenges zu begeistern…
Here is your random Jallenge for today.
You are a wonderful person. Thank you for being here!
